Building. the meeting went for about 30 mins.
we discussed about the syllabus, tutoring schedule and her upcomming
exam.

I met with Stephanie last night at the library on campus.  She was real nice and i think we will be able to work well together.  We planned on gettin in touch sometime at the beginning of next week to work together again.  I really look forward to working with her.

The second tutor assigned to me was very qualified, and seemed to have a strong understanding of the material. I am so pleased with my tutor, Christine, from 99Tutors.  It took her one day to get in touch with me (even though I signed up the day before SSI started), and we met the following day at Starbucks.  Our second meeting was after the weekend, on Monday.
I love Christine!  She has a way of explaining calculus so that it is easy.  I have benefitted so much (already!) from being able to meet with her.  We laugh together often and have a fun study time. 
Communication between me and Christine is excellent.  She is at the meeting place on time and is willing to stay as long as I need her to.  She reminds me every time I see her that I can call her anytime to ask questions.  It's very comforting knowing that I have access to help at all times.
I looked all over BCS for a one-on-one tutoring organization and 99Tutors is the only one that exists.  I feel it is incredibly beneficial to have your own private tutor.  For example, I have troubles with basic math and Christine takes the time to go through each problem step by step involving simple math equations so that I understand the process.  I'm definitely not naturally good at math, so I have many questions that others may consider elementary.  Christine knows exactly what concepts I have problems with and how to teach me so that I understand completely.  She is so patient and sensitive to my frustration that I don't feel awkward asking her questions.
I am so happy with 99Tutors and absolutely plan to extend my hours with Christine and sign up for help with other math and science classes in the Fall semester.  The price is very reasonable and the resulting confidence and success is worthless.  Thank you 99Tutors!!!

met with Julie for Chemistry 101 Tuesday, June 6, at 8pm at Barnes and Nobles.  Although this was our first meeting she had an exam the next day and we therefore decided to do tutoring.  We were there till 9:30pm.  The chemistry was extremely agreeable.  We plan on meeting Monday and Wednesdays starting next Monday.  We'll probably continue to meet at Barnes and Noble but we will be meeting at 7pm.  Thanks.

I met with my first tutee for 99tutors, Megan, yesterday.  I received my first tutoring assignment within two days of signing on with 99tutors.  After confirming a tutoring assignment, Megan and I had exchanged e-mails and phone calls within the day.  An appointment was quickly set up and we got started.  We could only do an hour and 40 min the first meeting because of tutee fatigue.  She had a test the next day, things were going well but a student can only do so much at a single session.  We have another appointment set up

met with Caryn in the MSC today in the morning.. We arranged a meeting for Thursday morning and then Friday at noon. She is really behind in her Spanish assignments and so I will be helping her out as much as I can. We get along well, and can work together with no problem.

I met with Whitney on Friday on campus and we discuss her needs and
expectation with tutoring PHYS 208.  I think our chemistry is fine and
I will be glad to tutor if the feeling is reciprocated.  If we get the
go ahead, tutoring will be conducted somewhere on campus.

I am very satisfied with 99tutors, I got a response on my application within a week. It took my first tutee a few days to contact me because his phone was broken and he didn't check his e-mail, but now we communicate frequently. I believe that the personal one-on-one tutoring really helps the students because they get to ask questions on things they really don't understand and work through those problems, something you can't do in group tutoring sessions.
met with my tutor about 2 weeks ago for a business project I had and I plan on meeting her a 2nd time for another project.  I like how I was contacted right away and we were able to set up a date to meet and have her tutor me.  She's very knowledgeable about the subject and very helpful.  I couldn't be more pleased! :)

Bryce and I have decided to go forward with tutoring for anth 205.  we
are meeting on Wednesday for a two hour session.  I think he needs some
help learning how to study for a liberal arts reading based class.  He did
all the readings for his last test, he just needs help figuring out what is
important and the connections between the reading and the lecture.  I
think I will be able to help him a lot in these areas.

I had my first meeting with Kevin Simon on Friday October 20th. He was very cool and seemed anxious to start tutoring. He has a test on Thursday October 26th, so he wanted to set up two study times this week. Monday and Wensday. I told him to go online and purchase hours but im not sure if he did. So shoot me an email back telling me what times he wants to get tutored. I gave him my scheduel so it is no surprise to him when i can tutor him. If he wants to get some study time in this week befor his test he needs to talk to you.

I met Lisa this morning at 10:30 in the Commons Lobby.  We decided that we would meet wednesday at 6pm in Commons to start tutoring since she has a test on Friday.  I think we will get along well, and I didn't see anything that would create a problem.  I think we were both comfortable working with each other.  We decided we would work through problems in the book since they aren't assigned in class.

I had a response within two days of my application and was contacted by my tutor the same day of the response.  I am pleased with quickness of the response and set up of my first meeting.  I have met with my tutor once already, he was a great help.  He is qualified at what he has tutored me on, since i was able to understand every explanation.  As for our schedule we are working on a day by day schedule to make it easier on us to find one day rather than trying to fit multiple days.  I believe that this tutor is a great fit so far. It is unnecessary to change tutors at this time.

Hello all!!!
Kyle Landrum and I met today at 5pm in the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble.
We met until just before 7pm. That will be our meeting place from now on.
I think we will be able to work on PSYC 203 just fine together. We plan
to meet Tuesday at 6:15pm and again Wednesday at the same time. He has his
second test on Thursday afternoon, so we're trying to get some time in
before the test.
Our general strategy is to tie as many concepts together as possible
and focus on the big picture and work down. He had the most trouble on the
last test with recalling definitions. I happen to have the same book
his class is using and flashcards I made for myself when I took it a couple
semesters ago. I want to use start using those Tuesday night when we
meet and again Wednesday. But I digress...
He had a question about the package deal, and I didn't have a whole lot
to offer him on that except "I think what they mean by that is how many
sessions you want to be tutored, but I'll check for you." Can you
clarify for the both of us? We talked about tutoring for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours
to start off with, just to test the limits.
Basically, I think we'll be fine. Today we did a lot of housekeeping
things and looked over his last test to clarify some concepts. He said
it helped. I offered some suggestions on getting prepared.

i met erin for a little while at barnes and noble on saturday morning and i think she will be able to help me out very much.  we plan on meeting at traditions apartments behind northgate on monday evening.  i will be going online shortly to pick a payment option.  thank you for your help

I met with my turor Karen for the first time today friday october 6th. We met in the evans library, and that is were we will be meeting on monday the 9th. I think we hit it off pretty well, and I do believe that she will be a great help

i am very happy overall with my tutor. She def. does try and help me understand. The only thing i would say is that we do seem to have schedule problems. Our schedules always conflict, but we seem to try and work it out.

Today, I met Michael at Barnes and Noble on Texas.  We talked about good times to get together and decided to meet on Tuesday (10/10) at 4:30 at Starbucks on Northgate.  I think the chemistry was good.  We seem to have similar ways of studying and learning.  I think we will get along well and I think he was also comfortable.  We decided to do worksheets and outlines and to read through the book ot add to the notes that he takes in class.  We both feel that writing things down helps us to remember the information and so we are going to work on techniques that require writing the information.

My experience with 99tutors has been great. My students are doing well and I enjoy helping them. It only took a few days before I started finding students looking for tutoring in the fields I am comfortable teaching, and we were able to get in touch usually that day.
